The Windows device manager shows the Audiobox as a separate entry called 'PreSonus USB Audio 2.0 Devices' rather than a device under Sound, Video, and Game Controllers. You have to use Control Panel - Sound to make the Audiobox the default recording and/or playback device.

I recently purchased an AudioBox USB 96. I'm attempting to download the drivers for it from the My Products page. I am able to find the downloads for StudioOne 3 Artist, Arturia Analog Lab Lite, Lexicon MPX-i Reverb, Plugin Alliance, and Universal Control. By the way, USB 3.0 is backwards compatible with USB 2.0. Based on the the Presonus website, the AudioBox USB is a USB 1.1 device. Also, USB 1.1 was released in January 1996. USB 3.0 was released in November 2008. How much time do you need to re-write your drivers? Heck, this thread started in January of 2013.
